Using Image Maps to Create Interactive Point & Click Horror Adventures in RPG Maker MV
The Franklin Coverup (Horror RPG) » Devlog
Today I created a series of transparent images of creepy looking text and used it to place different clickable events on the screen to progress the story. During the character's interaction with the FBI agent on the phone the character's potential questions appear on the screen for the user to click rather than the standard boring text box event in the middle of the screen.
Other than that I also created a video to summarize the first climax of the game and it is superrrr creepy! The player will see the video once they finish asking all possible questions to the FBI agent on the phone.
